Exploring a culture of exchange and innovation in Northern Europe, Andrew Forbes (organs) and Kirsty Main (violins) perform 17th and 18th century repertoire by Johann Helmich Roman and Frescobaldi, 20th century music from Sweden, and the Concerto Sacro by one of Norway's most important composers, Knut Nystedt. This performance features both the historic 1868 T.C. Lewis organ and the Goetze and Gwynn Italian organ of the MacPherson Recital Room at the University of St Andrews.
